The Arkema Inc. Science Teachers Program is for teachers in grades 3, 4, 5, or 6. The goal of the program is to bring Arkema scientists and local teachers together to spark an interest in science among elementary school students. The program aims to make teachers more expert when teaching science.
Selected teachers are invited to the Arkema site (located in King of Prussia) for a two-day workshop in August to explore science kits, science demonstrations, lab tours, and interact with scientists. Selected teachers receive free science kits and a $500 stipend to use in their classroom.
