The headquarters of the PFT is located in Center City at:

Our phone number is 215-587-6738. The hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm – Monday through Friday. There are information officers on duty to assist you during the day or you may leave a message for your PFT Regional Staff Representative.

 

Satellite Office

We also have a satellite office at the School District’s Main Headquarters at 440 North Broad Street. Phone numbers are 215-561-2113 or 215-567-2897. The hours are 8:45 am to 4:30 pm – Monday through Friday. Staff representatives there will assist you regarding questions in the following areas:

  • Assignment
  • Seniority
  • Payroll
  • School/Location staffing information
  • Certification
  • Transfers
  • Health services
  • Test reviews
  • 504 accommodations

 

PFT Health and Welfare Office

Health and Welfare coordinators provide information regarding benefits that the PFT has won for you. These benefits include:

  • Prescription plan
  • Vision plan
  • Dental coverage
  • Long term Disability
  • Eligibility begins after ten (10) pay periods or five (5) months for these negotiated benefits.

Coordinators will also assist you in the following work related areas:

  • Workers’ compensation
  • Unemployment compensation
  • Retirement counseling
  • Assistance with medical insurance coverage
  • Occupational liability
